Principal’s Message
I am excited to have the opportunity to work at St Joseph’s Primary School in Warialda.
St Joseph’s Primary School aims to foster harmonious and effective communication between all members of the school community. Collaboration and cooperation between staff, students, parents and the wider community is a feature of the school.
Students as participants in the 21st century need to understand themselves as learners, be able to work collaboratively, engage in new technologies and develop the skills of thinking and metacognition.
There is a high expectation that all students at St Joseph’s Primary School are able to set learning goals and reflect on their progress to ensure they become independent learners.
The school community continues to develop a shared vision for the school. This process will involve dialogue between students, staff, families and the wider community.
The intent is to create a learning community which responds to the curiosity and learning styles of all students.
St Joseph’s is a learning community not only for students but also for staff. Teamwork and life long learning are promoted amongst our dedicated staff.
